Divers embarking on the search process (photo|citizen digital)Two bodies have been retrieved from Lake Nakuru after a helicopter crashed in the area.
Nakuru county commissioner Joshua Nakhatha has confirmed the latest development in the search.
Nakhatha added that one body was found near the wreckage.
The two bodies are among the five people who died.
Those who were in the helicopter, owned and operated by Flex Air Charters have since been identified as Captain Apollo Malowa, Sam Gitau, Mapozi John, Anthony Kipyego and a woman referred to only as Veronica.Debris of the crashed chopper were on Sunday found a few kilometers from the shore.
The intensified search operations are still ongoing.
