Two people were on Tuesday arraigned before a Bomet court and charged with stealing over Sh2 million.
The prosecution told the court that the suspects, Jethro Cheruiyot and Charles Yegon, illegally accessed Mary Chirchir's account at Bomet Cooperative Bank and stole Sh2,766,100.
The suspects denied the theft charges leveled against them and pleaded the court releases them on bond.
They were released on a bond of Sh200,000 each.
The hearing of the case was scheduled for November 16.
