Two people died and six  were injured following a road accident involving a lorry along Nyambera -Nyamataro Road in Kisii County.

The accident happened at the Nyambera - Nyamataro Road as the lorry lost control hitting two pedestrians who were coming from church and a motorbike which was carrying customers.

According to an eye-witness, the lorry lost control and hit two pedestrians who died on the spot and a motorcycle which was carrying customers.

The motorbike survivors were rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital where they were been admitted but CEO Dr Enock Ondari is yet to give a report on them.

Confirming the accident, Commander of Police Agnes Mudambi said that the lorry lost the control .
