Two people died on the spot after a motorcycle they were riding was involved in a road accident along Naivasha-Mai Mahiu road on Tuesday evening.The two were travelling to Longonot from Mai Mahiu trading centre when the motorcycle rammed the truck that was heading to Naivasha from Nairobi.
The motorcycle was trapped under the lorry as the two were thrown meters away.
The accident caused traffic jam on the busy road before police collected the bodies and towed away the wreckage.A witness Joseph Njoroge said the rider was speeding.Njoroge said boda boda accidents have been on the rise in the area in recent days."Last year over 10 people died in similar such accidents. It seems there is a problem in this boda boda business," he said.
