Two people died on the spot after a bus they were travelling in rammed into a trailer along the Narok-Mai Mahiu highway on Sunday.

Confirming the incident, Naivasha OCPD Titus Mathuku said the 5am accident involved a trailer and a bus travelling to Nairobi.

He said the bus driver and a female passenger died on the spot while those injured were taken to Naivasha hospital.

Mathuku added that the the trailer-truck had stalled.
