Two people who were arrested on Thursday during protests in Ol Kalou will be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
Lawrence Mwangi Muturi,36, and John Mburu,44, were among hundreds of residents who protested over Jubilee Party's move to delay issuance of nomination certificates.
The residents claimed that the Jubilee Party of trying to deny Kaimbaga ward nominee the party certificate.
They were locked up at Ol kalou police station but later released on bond.
They alleged that there were plans to deny Nyaga the ticket and issue it to his rival, Gabriel Gathure.
The angry residents paralyzed business in Ol Kalou town, lit bonfires and defaced Jubilee party headquarters in Nyandarua.
