Following Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa's involvement in politics at same time serving as a CS, 2 people have moved to court seeking intervention to ban him from political rallies and campaigns that he is alleged to have begun.
Evans Okwara Ndubi and Julius Kulundu Asiba on Wednesday moved to High Court and filed a case seeking to stop Wamalwa from early campaigns yet he is a public officer.
The two said that Wamalwa has violated the laws and the Constitution by being involved in politics at the same time serving as the Water Cabinet Secretary.
They want the court to order Wamalwa to stay away from politics or resign from office before being involved in politics.
Wamalwa has been doing rounds across the country campaigning for Jubilee ahead of the 2017 elections.
