[Photo/KNA] Two suspects have been arrested by police in Kisii after rowdy youths caused a fracas accusing government officials of buying IDs from locals in Kisii town.Kisii Central deputy county commissioner Peter Mbugi said suspects will be charged in court once police complete investigations. The administrator said those who caused chaos and burnt campaign materials were goons acting on false rumors meant to disrupt peace in the area.Mbugi warned politicians who hire goons to create disharmony.According to Mbugi, the NYS officials had already recruited youths in Nyanturago, Kiogoro, and Marani when their schedule was disrupted before they recruited in Kitutu Chache Central.Mbugi said residents should desist from being used to harass government officers.He said security agents will be on high alert to arrest anyone who will disturb the peace ahead of the October 26 presidential polls.
