Police have launched a hunt for four armed robbers who raided a house in Nairobi’s Karen on Sunday night where they shot and injured a businessman and a guard.
According to the police, the gang which was armed with AK-47 rifles, shot the guard when they arrived before escaping in a waiting car, the Star reports.
The businessman was shot twice in the leg.
The robbers escaped with an unknown amount of cash, mobile phones and gold.
And in Pangani, police recovered a pistol with two bullets from a suspected thug who was shot dead on Monday during a botched robbery.
The suspect was said to be in the company of three others who had been robbing motorists and pedestrians when an alarm was raised.
