A motorbike rider and a passenger were on Saturday evening seriously injured after a speeding trailer hit them from behind.
An eye witness identified as Joshua said the accident occurred near Lollipop hotel along Moi Avenue in Naivasha town, Nakuru.
He said the rider and his passenger were heading to Naivasha town when the accident occurred.
Joshua added that the two sustained serious leg fractures because they jumped from the motorbike after the trailer run over the motorcycle.
"The victims jumped after they saw a speeding trailer. Residents rushed them to hospital for treatment," he said.
A medical officer at Naivasha sub-county hospital who requested for anonymity said the victims are in stable condition.
"One of the victims sustained head injuries while the other had a broken limb. They are stable and ongoing well with medication," said the medic.
