Two people have been found dead in a forest at Kiogoro division Nyaura sub location in Kisii county. The two middle-aged men were unidentified are said to have been killed elsewhere and their bodies abandoned there.
Speaking to Journalists at the incident, the Nyaura location chief Mr George Opanga said that the two men were tied up and had a lot of blood on their bodies a clear sign of murder.
'We were in a baraza this afternoon before we received news of the two men who were found dead. The security of this area was okay before this incident occurred. Therefore we urge the public to be calm as we call in the experts from the police department to do their job," he said.
The residents, therefore, accused Nyumba Kumi Initiative of being incompetent in ensuring security and night patrols along the village roads.
The police going on with investigations as the administration urge whoever has a report to submit to the authorities.
