Two MCAs from Kisii who were arrested for allegedly being found with three secondary school girls will remain in custody police said on Tuesday.
The two will remain in custody until investigations into the incident are complete.
Joash Orora (Masimba) and Cosmas Saka (Nyakoe) were seen with the students of Induru Girls’ Secondary School on Monday by a resident at Nyamarambe.
The girls aged 16 and 17 were seen in one of the politician's vehicles changing clothes from civilian to school uniform at 3pm before they were arrested.
The girls are said to have left their homes on Sunday to school.
Kisii criminal investigations officer Justus Burudi said the MCAs are being held at Nyamarambe police station the Star reported..
Burudi said the girls were taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for examination.
The MCAs are expected to be taken to court when investigations are complete.
Women Rep Mary Otara condemned the incident and called for tough action to be taken against the MCAs.
