Two duly elected MCAs in the Kisii county assembly were arrested on Monday night for allegedly defiling underage high school girls. Nyakoe ward MCA Mr Cosmos Saka and his Masimba ward counterpart Joash Orora were arrested by the police after being alerted by members of the public. The duo, together with two girls who are students at Nduru Girls High School were caught in a Nissan Sunny car of registration number KBJ 741N while driving away from town. The leaders were held at Nyamarambe police station while the girls were taken to Nyamarambe Hospital for tests to get substantial evidence.
Reportedly some MCA's had stormed the hospital with intentions of tampering with the evidence to save their colleagues.
