The National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) has closed two more clubs in Nairobi.
Kiza and Jiweke Taverns in Kilimani were closed after residents launched a bitter campaign against their operation in the area.
NEMA Head of Corporate Communications Evans Nyabuto said they were doing so to ensure every citizen enjoys their right to a clean and healthy environment as is enshrined in the Consitution.
He said that his body will be there to ensure that all noisy businesses in the county are closed down to give residents a peace of mind.
This was a continuation of efforts they launched in Kilimani last week when they closed Space Club and Club-B.
