2017 general elections is fading away from the minds of Kenyans and 2022 presidential elections has started shaping up.
After ODM party announced that it might have to go alone in 2022, FORD Kenya leader Mosses Wentangula announced that he must be on the ballot. However, the presidential candidacy of deputy president William Ruto in 2022 is clear to everyone.
After supporting president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013 and 2017 respectively, Ruto is expecting Uhuru's back up and more importantly the support of the Central region.
Several leaders from the Central region including former Kiambu governor William Kabogo and Nyeri Town Legislator Ngujiri Wambugu have said that the region's support for deputy president Ruto is not automatic something which has elicited mixed reactions from the GEMA community.
From the same region there are two Members of parliament who are doing and have done what they can to ensure that the dreams of Ruto to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta will come true.
