In the Nyanza region, a number of political bigwigs were sent home and new entrants elected to replace them.

Most new entrants have struggled to make their impact felt, but two MPs from the Nyanza region have found it easy to break through the political limelight and are making big milestones.

The two; Nyando MP Jared Okello and his Rarieda counterpart Otiende Amollo have created a name for themselves owing to their vocal nature on national political matters.

The legislators are frequently invited to contribute in various political shows and have become the go to men wen analysing political matters in the country.

Their numerous contribution in parliament has also endeared them to the electorate.

Being young in elective politics, Okello and Otiende can only improve what they have already achieved in the six months they have been in office.

The two are intellectually blessed and posses numerous ideas which if successfully implemented can transform the Nyanza region and Kenya at large.

Their youthfulness also makes it easy for them to interact with the young people, who form the huge percentage of Kenya's registered voters.

Going forward, the vocal MPs will be the people to watch especially with speculations that Opposition leader Raila Odinga may retire.

If the two continue contributing to national discourse, defending the opposition and fully representing their electorate in parliament then they will be the next breed of top leaders from the Nyanza region.
