Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya paid a courtesy call to his Vihiga counterpart Governor Wilber Ottichilo at the latter's offices at Mbale, Vihiga.
The two opposition's NASA leaders held a consultative meeting on how to better the economic ties of the two neighbour counties for development purposes. Governor Oparanya has held meetings on the same agenda with other leaders and governors from the Western region with the aim of fostering unity and initiating economic development of the region.
While naming his cabinet on Wednesday January 21, Oparanya said he would soon unveil a Kakamega County Vision 2030 blue print that will guide Kakamega's economic transformation upto the year 2030.
