Two ODM legislators on Sunday turned up for Coastal People's Assembly meeting armed with Bibles to swear-in Raila Odinga.

Mishi Mboko (Likoni) and Aisha Jumwa (Malindi) argued that they were impatient and wanted to crowd Raila to 'rest' the presidential debate.

"We are tired with Uhuru Kenyatta's intimidation and that is why I carried this Bible. I wanted to ensure Raila takes oath of office," Jumwa said.

Mboko on her part added: "Coast only recognizes Raila as the de facto leader. I am armed with a Bible and wanted to settle this matter."

Last Tuesday, NASA aborted plans to swear-in Raila with absence of Kalonzo Musyoka from the country said as one of the reasons why they postponed the ceremony.

And in Mombasa, Odinga insisted that he shall 'carry the Bible' before the year ends adding that nobody will 'stop him from swearing-in'.
