ODM Women Representative aspirant for Kilifi county and current Kibarani MCA Gertrude Mwanyanje has declared war on newcomer Juliet Riziki.
Mwanyanje was early last year endorsed by her predecessor Aisha Jumwa, who is vying for Malindi MP seat, while Riziki enjoys Governor Amason Kingi's support.
The rivalry between the two women leaders started on social media but has now been extended in public gatherings.
During the celebrations to mark International Women's day, Mwanyanje accused Riziki of insulting her in public.
She promised to deal with her conclusively if she abuses her again.
Mwanyanje further told Riziki not to boast because she enjoys Governor Kingi's support.
Rumors also have it that Riziki has already been given direct nomination ticket by the ODM even before party primaries.
