The duo lost their lives after they were killed in separate incidences on Friday night.

An 83- year- old woman was found murdered in cold blood at her home in Ndunduni village.

Confirming the incident, Kangundo Police Station's Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Morris Okul said the woman had deep panga cuts on her head.

In the second incident, a night guard working at Kangundo DEB Primary School was also murdered on the fateful night.

The deceased was reportedly attacked at the school compound while on duty.

According to the school's head teacher Benard Kivuva, nothing was stolen from the school during the time of the attack.

Okul said police had launched investigations into the incidences.

He said three suspects had been arrested in connection to the killings and were helping the police in investigations.

The suspects have been questioned and will appear in court on Monday.

"We have three suspects in our custody, they will be arraigned in court on Monday next week," Okul said.
