A Kilgoris court on Friday sentenced to death two suspects of robbery with violence.

This is after the suspects identified as Wesley Rotich Kipkoech and Dennis Kirui Kipkoech were found guilty of robbing Geoffrey Kaleke Kamoye.

The court heard that the suspects robbed Kamoye his property on the night of July, 19 and 20, 2015 in Trans Mara West, Narok county.

Kamoye is a neighbor to the suspects.

The suspects were armed with dangerous weapons which they threatened Kamoye with during the robbery incident.

According to the prosecution, the stolen items; a solar panel and radio were found in their homes after police launched a search for the items.

The suspects have 14 days to make an appeal.
