Joseph Ruhohi Njoka together with his farmhand who has been identified only as Maxwell, were shot dead by unknown people prompting the death of Ruhohi’s mother, Naomi Wacu on learning that her son had been killed.

Ruhohi’s father, John Njoka is now demanding that the security organs carry out immediate investigations and bring to book the perpetrators of the heinous crime.

“I heard gunshots and my mind told me that those gunshots were killing my son. I was very scared to go to the scene. What I would like to know is why and who killed my son, and my wife of course, because she died after learning of our son’s death. I feel a lot of pain and I need explanations from the government,” said Njoka.

“Maxwell was from Bungoma and had only worked in the homestead for two days and he was killed in the scene too,” added Njoka.

The area chief Esther Thuo has said that investigations are underway to unearth the culprits and promised that they will be identified soon.

The three will be buried on Tuesday next week.
