The National Super Alliance (NASA) has been faulted after it urged its supporters to boycott products from some of the country's top companies.
Nandi Senator Kiprotich Cherargei says such a move is unacceptable and ill-advised.
Speaking in Eldoret on Sunday, the Jubilee allied Senator asked Kenyans to ignore the opposition's call for a boycott of some products and services.
"The only things Kenyans and more so NASA supporters need to boycott is violence and destruction of properties; anything else apart from those two is good for use by any Kenyan irrespective of their political affiliation," said Cherargei.
NASA leadership has directed its supporters to boycott products and services from companies they claim are allied to the Jubilee administration.
They include Safaricom, Brookside Dairies and Bidco among others.
