It has emerged that 555 out of 557school heads who were transferred a fortnight ago have reported to their new stations.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) said tht the handing over in their old stations was completed by Friday as scheduled.
Only two heads had failed to report in their new stations. The two are one from Western and one from Rift valley who had not handed over due to logistical issues and sickness respectively.
Leading the pack is Kenya Secondary school Heads Association (KSSHA) Chair Mr. Indimuli Kahi, who was previously at Chavakali High in Vihiga, reporting at his new stations Machakos High School on Thursday.
Alliance High School's new head Mrs Doreen Gitonga from Chogoria girls reported on Wednesday taking over from Catherine Irungu who was transferred to Kitui TTC.
TSC had earlier scheduled that the principal report to their new schools by 1st January 2018 in a move targeting heads who were in one school for more than 9 years.
CEO & secretary Nancy Macharia says that the move transfer principal will promote National integration in the country.
The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) through the secretary General, Wilson Sossion had advised principals and their deputies to ignore the changes by TSC and warned that they will call for a national industrial action by Teachers if the government would not shelve it's transfer plan to pave way for consultation.
