Police are currently holding two students from Kisii University who have so far been linked to harassment of journalist at the Institution.
According to Kisii Central Deputy OCS Inspector Abdo Kiptoo Abdala, the two were arrested on Wednesday morning as the police continue with investigations.
"We were no happy to see few journalist from Standard media, NTV, and more other freelancers harassed in Kisii University and the two who have been arrested will help us arrest more," said Kiptoo.
Their arrest comes after a group of journalists were assaulted by Kisii university students when they were covering a demonstration on Monday.
The police has however condemned the act and called upon witnesses to come out help police launch a firm case.
