Two women and a man were on Tuesday arraigned before a Nakuru court for allegedly conspiring the defilement of a 16 years old girl.
John Ndungu was accused of defiling a 16-year-old girl at Store-Mbili trading centre in Njoro Sub-County on the night of August 15.
Joyce Wanjiku and Mary Wangui are also accused of allegedly conspiring to induce the 16-year-old girl to be defiled by Ndungu.
Its alleged that the two women pretended that they were in position to offer shelter to the said minor with an intent to permit the accused to commit the act.
According to police files, the minor is mentally disturbed and the three took her from her mother after visiting her.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Joel Ng'eno, they pleaded not guilty and pleaded that they be given favourable bond terms.
The court gave them a surety bond of Sh100,000 and while requiring the prosecution to produce witnesses' statements.
The case will be heard on October 9.
