Nakuru town has a rich variety of men but there are a few groups that stand out and are readily identifiable.

Here are the four types of men you will surely identify once you land in Nakuru

1. Gamblers

With the rise of sports betting and online casino gambling, a 50-50 affair that promises big returns, almost each and every man in Nakuru is a gambler.

Therefore, do not be surprised when you realize that hundreds of the men you come across seem more interested in their phones than in anything else.

They are most probably investing in the next soccer clash.

2. Hustlers

These are the ones who live by the grace of God.

They are all over the town looking out for possible job openings, most of which are in the informal sector.

At lunchtime, you will find them laying on their backs at Nyayo Gardens, to at least dream of a brighter future ahead and fool their demanding tummies after an unsuccessful search.

3. The working class

This is the type that roams the city clad in suits, sharpshooter shoes, and heavy cologne.

You will come across them holding their already-read newspapers and car keys dangling from their fingers.

They are the minority, however, as unemployment continues to bite.

 4. Students

Nakuru has fully embraced education.

With the increasing number of campuses in the town, it's normal to meet groups of youngsters with their backpacks on, most of which contain laptops and books.

Most of them have been sent by their parents to go acquire the white man's wisdom for the future benefit of the nation.

They are the proudest lot and view themselves as the next big things.
