Kilifi Women Representative Aisha Jumwa has told President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to prepare to go home after Tuesday’s election.
Speaking in Kilifi town during her final campaign rally on Saturday, Jumwa said the Jubilee administration does not deserve re-election.She said the tyranny of numbers theory that Jubilee has been banking on will not work in their favour this time round.“The Jubilee government has no chance of surviving on August 8 and UhuRuto should prepare to go home,” said Jumwa, as quoted by the Standard. The Malindi MP hopeful said the country’s economy has dwindled under Jubilee’s watch, arguing that if Uhuru’s administration is given another term in office, it will plunge the country into economic misery.Meanwhile, Jumwa has urged residents to support her candidature for the Malindi seat. She promised to promote and fight for the rights and interests of residents if elected.Jumwa at the same time called on Kilifi residents and Kenyans in general to remain peaceful and preach unity during and after the elections.
