Ahadi Trust Chief Executive Officer Stanley Kamau has urged Uasin Gishu residents to stop hiding children living with disability.He said this is a violation of the rights of the children."It's sad that 50 per cent of disabled children are hidden at home. They have the right to education and association just like their normal counterparts," he said in Eldoret, Thursday."If you hide your children how will they get assistance. Disability is not inability," he added.Kamau called upon parents to register their disabled children at the local social services offices to ease delivery of services.He, however urged Chiefs and their assistants to take stern actions against parents hiding disable children.
