Uasin Gishu County gospel ministers have vowed to preach peace before, during and after elections.
Chairman Bishop Wilson Kurui, said this will ensure peaceful elections."We will traverse in every ward with a peace caravan our message being peace. We won't allow what transpired in 2007 to reoccur," he said in Eldoret, Wednesday."There will be no shading of blood for politics gain the August elections. Kenyans should maintain peace since elections come and go," he added. Kurui challenged the clergy irrespective of their denominations to at least set aside ten minutes every day to pray for the country and the fourth coming elections.He however, called upon aspirants to conduct their campaigns peacefully and avoid using utterances that could divide Kenyans. "As the clergy we have decided that we will not vote for any hatemongers politicians.
