The County Government of Uasin Gishu has said it will not go back on its efforts to rid Eldoret Town of hawkers.''We have said to them that they should operate their businesses in designated areas. The town is a no no,'' Deputy Governor Chemno said while speaking to the press yesterday. This comes in the wake of great unease of how fruit vendors in Eldoret were treated by police.Chemno blamed an MCA called Chomba who he blamed for trying to incite ethnic tensions because he is against Governor Jackson Mandago.
