Recently elected leaders in Uasin Gishu have agreed to work together as a team to spearhead the county's development agenda.

The leaders, led by governor Jackson Mandago and Members of Parliament from the six constituencies recently held a closed door meeting in which they resolved to focus on service delivery to mwananchi.

According to Turbo MP Janet Rotich, locals stand to be the beneficiaries of their close working relationship.

"We have agreed as MPs in this county that we will work together with our governor, MCAs and the Senator so that we push the development agenda for the people as a team," noted Mrs Rotich in Eldoret, Monday.

"As leaders, we all have a common interest of serving our people diligently and this is what we will be doing for the next five years," she added.

Most of the elected leaders in the county save for a few were governor Mandago's allies whom he campaigned together ahead of the August 8th elections.
