A team of doctors from Uasin Gishu County government held a meeting at the County headquarters chaired by the Health Services CeC Everlyne Rotich.

This was in a bid to improve health provision in the County and strategize on how to deal with challenges encountered on the ground by service providers.

In the meeting, it was agreed that all facilities should be reinforced with a revolving fund pharmacy to cub issues of drug shortage.

Rotich reiterated that all staff in charge should ensure proper drug storage and make it a priority to ensure all staffs in the facility are on duty and doing their work as required.She further added that service providers should work 8-hours a day and be passionate in their work as the public look up to them for healthcare services.

Rotich urged the doctors to make use of the available resources in their relevant stations, and further assured them that the department would work hand in hand with them to ensure service delivery to the public is exemplary.

The meeting was also attended by the Director Promotive and Preventive Services Dr. Evans Kiprotich and the Director Clinical Services Dr. Jones Cheruiyot.
