Speaking to locals at Eldoret town Wednesday, the senator called upon leaders to concentrate on development. The senator affirmed that through development people’s lives would be improved.

Chemno also said that time has come for leaders to put aside their political interests and work for the people.

“Time has come for us leaders to shun our political interests and concentrate our efforts to development,” said the senate lawmaker.

Chemno stated that divisive politics and interests would not benefit the people who he said are in dire need of services.

The senator at the same time challenged the Members of County Assembly (MCAs) to support the government in development.

He urged them to put their efforts and minds in creating laws that will promote development.

The senator intimated that it is only through proper development track record that the people will re-elect their leaders in the forthcoming 2017 general election.
