Ainabkoi Member of Parliament William Chepkut has sent a message of condolence to the family and friends of Mzee Edward Limo who died on Wednesday night.

Through his official Facebook Page, Chepkut described Mzee Limo as 'a great educationist and a great author who contributed much to the education sector.

"I am deeply saddened by the passing on of Mzee Edward Limo of Kapsoya Ward. He was a great educationist and great author having contributed so much to the education sector. He established a number of institutions including Limo school, Concord Girls High School, and the famous Limo Hospital just to mention a few," the MP posted on his Facebook, Thursday.

"He had so much passion in Education, youth empowerment and the general well-being of the entire society. Ainabkoi Constituency and the entire Kenyan nation has lost a great man," he added.

Mzee Limo owns Limo school and Concord girls and Concord boys schools all set up on his farm in the outskirts Eldoret town.He also donated part of his vast land for the construction of the AIC Kao la Amani church and AIC missionary college.
