Kesses Member of Parliament Swarup Mishra has urged the national government through the National Treasury to release the Constituency Development Funds (CDF) with immediate.
He said this will help them complete the projects which were started in the last regime and also start new ones.
“It is sad that we are not able to start or complete any project since we don’t have any money at our disposal. I am now forced to use my pocket money on some projects,” he said in Eldoret town, Monday.
“The treasury should do something, we want the money to be distributed on time for us to serve our electorates well since they want to see us working,” he added.
He, however, asked opposition leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta to swallow their pride and accept dialogue for the sake of the nation.
“By them accepting to dialogue it will unite the country since at the moment the country is deeply and the ones who will divide the country,” noted Mishra.
