The two claim the results were doctored in favor of their competitors who were declared winners.

Addressing the press at an Eldoret hotel, Thursday, Arap Kemei and Jebichii claimed results announced at polling centres were different to the ones declared at the Sub-county tallying centres.

"I want to dispute the outcome of the Senate primaries. Something was happening behind the scenes as the results of my agent do not tally with the ones announced," said Kemei.

"All I want is the real final results to be announced," added.

Similar sentiments were shared by Jebichii who claimed her votes were reduced and added to her competitor.

"They announced that I had 104 votes in Soy sub-county instead of 28,672. In Turbo I was given 7,640 yet I had over 12,000 votes and in Kapseret they announced that I had 2,000 votes but I know I had over 6,000," said Jebichii.

"I was supposed to be declared the winner for Women Rep seat and I am asking where did my votes go to," she added.

The two said they have already filed a formal complaint with the Jubilee party elections tribunal.

Former Minister Prof Margaret Kamar was declared the winner for the Senate seat while former Judiciary Registrar Gladys Boss Shollei won the Women Rep seat.
