The young people of Uasin Gishu have been urged to use social media responsibly and avoid using it for the purpose of spreading hatred.A programme aimed at giving tips to the youth on how to use social media in an empowering way has been launched.According to Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany, abuse of social media has made it difficult for some youths to get great opportunities in life.''We are urging our youths to be careful about what they post on social media. They need to know that what they post can have a lasting impact on their lives,'' Kositany said yesterday in his constituency of Soy.
