KTN Business news anchor Joy Doreen Biira was on Monday released from Kasese police station in Uganda, a day after he was arrested.
Biira alongside his fiancé and three others, were released on a police bond after spending a night at the police station.
Joy allegedly took and posted on social media pictures of Kasese clashes.
Doreen had been in her home district, Kasese, for her traditional wedding ceremony that took place Saturday, a day before the clashes erupted.
Police on Monday conducted a search in the house that Doreen were staying.
They were charged with abetting terrorism and required to report to the same police station on December 8, 2016.
The King of Rwenzururu Charles Mumbere had also been arrested over claims that he was supporting militiamen to fight against the government, but he denied the accusations.
Approximately 55 people were killed during in the killings that led to the arrest of several other journalists in Uganda.
Kenyans on social media condemned Biira's arrest and demanded for her immediate release.
The Standard Media Group has since written to the Ugandan government asking for immediate termination of the case.
