Ugandan Premier League champions KCCA defeated Tusker FC 1-0 in a pre-season friendly staged at Ruaraka Grounds on Monday, January 22.

KCCA scored the lone goal in the 33rd minute through Steven Serwada.

The match began with both sides struggling to seek a goal and ended up a balanced affair in the first half, save for Serwada's goal.

In the second half, both teams approached the match with precaution and Tusker introduced Hashim Sempala, Peter Nzuki and Michael Khamati in a bid to get the equaliser but all avenues remained locked.

The match ended 1-0 for KCCA.

The Ugandans are set to play AFC Leopards tomorrow Wednesday in another friendly match in Machakos.
