Tuesday morning saw a fight break out at City Hall following the decision by Kenya County Government Workers Union members to demolish a wall erected to bar county staff the access to offices which are claimed by MCAs.
The KCGWU members came armed with tools and attempted to occupy the fourth floor before police intervened.
In the hour-long confrontation, the union officials are said to have exchanged words and insulted City Hall’s sergeant-at-arms.
According to Nation, police had to ruthlessly rough the union workers who then fled the scene.
There was however an uglier episode when the sergeant-at-arms drew his gun and threatened to shoot the union members in case they did not leave.
