Washington DC's efforts to initiate dialogue between Jubilee administration and opposition NASA may have as well hit a snug, insists Dismas Mokua.

Moments after taking oath of office, President Uhuru Kenyatta is understood to have been approached by Donald Trump's administration to set aside cabinet posts for opposition.

But on Friday, Uhuru unveiled his entire cabinet in line with the constitution, a move that rules out possibilities for government of national unity.

"Technically speaking there is no room for negotiations because it is all about sharing power," says Mokua.

He further adds: "US has been thrown to a complicated situation because constitutionally, it will be difficult to share power."

A part from naming Cabinet Secretaries, Uhuru also created Chief Administrative Secretary positions which he also dished out.

Earlier this week, US envoy Robert Godec is said to have met Raila Odinga in a bid to prevail upon him over dialogue.
