Jubilee party has decided to adopt election monitoring strategy first endorsed by their rivals NASA,  as the October 26, repeat polls draw near.

While speaking to Jubilee Governors, Senators, and MPs at the State House on Monday, Deputy President William Ruto said the ruling party will use their elected leaders as chief agents of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to Ruto, the move is to help reduced cases of simple mistakes that led to the nullification of Uhuru's August 8 victory. He also urged the leaders to ensure agents at every polling station is well trained.

"We are having meetings with all our leaders to apprise ourselves on election management. We want to make sure the mischiefs and loopholes that were used in the nullification of a fairly won election do not happen again," said Ruto.

"The party will definitely have a complete list of agents in all polling stations within this week," he added.

This move is a replica to NASA's strategy that was announced by Mombasa governor Hassan Joho, where Embakasi East MP Babu Owino will be their chief agent in Kiambu county while Dagoreti North MP Simba Arati and former Starehe MP aspirant Steve Mbogo taking care of Nairobi city center.
