President Uhuru Kenyatta has addressed alleged insults by Mombasa governor Hassan Joho targeting him.

Speaking on Wednesday in Mombasa Uhuru advised Joho to ask himself pertinent questions before insulting him.

“Will your insults change the lives of Mombasa people? They cannot. Arrogance does not build the nation. Jobs do,” said Uhuru.

Over the recent months, Joho and Uhuru have been involved in public spats.

Joho has been accusing Uhuru of planning to transfer services of Mombasa port to the proposed Naivasha dry port.
