After their recent agreement to put aside their difference, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga will soon start countrywide tours to preach peace and unity.
The two are said to be planning tours in Odinga’s strongholds, in an effort to calm Odinga’s supporters and help the healing process.
This comes even as leaders from both coalitions grapple to come to terms with the latest developments, which caught everyone off the mark.
This comes even as the NASA co-principals claim to have been left out of the decision to meet the president.
The three; Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula have since organized a meeting to deliberate on the recent events.
They accuse Odinga of driving selfish interests and moving without informing them. The move by Odinga seems to have brought to an end the frosty relationship that has existed since last year’s general elections.
Odinga and his NASA team had vowed not to recognize Kenyatta's administration, saying they are in office illegally.
The duo will tour parts of Nyanza, before tours in areas of Western, Lower Eastern and Coast. These areas are considered NASA strongholds and are home to most of the opposition party’s leaders.
