Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has vowed to support the Opposition, Nasa, saying she was 'duped' by the ruling Jubilee government.

Ngilu was suspended in 2015 after she was linked to the Karen land saga, where billions of shillings was lost.

According to the Narc party leader, she had good plans for the Jubilee party, but president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, took her for granted, and 'used her'.

She warned that she would never forget how she was mishandled, and lied to, that she would resume duty after investigations into the scam, was over.

"The current government has nothing to offer to Kenyans. They accused me of what I did not do, just to get me out of office. I will never forget that,'' Ngilu said.

The Kitui gubernatorial aspirant said she would support Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, and the entire Nasa coalition, to ensure Jubilee is not re-elected in August 8.

"We'll walk together to ensure Kenyans get a deserving government,'' Ngilu said after meeting Kalonzo, Tuesday.

She was accompanied by Makueni governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana, alongside other Ukambani leaders.
