Opposition coalition NASA Deputy presidential candidate Kalonzo Musyoka has ruled out joining forces with Jubilee Party with just 17 days to the general elections.
During his recent tour of the Lower Eastern region, President Uhuru Kenyatta attempted to prevail upon the Wiper Party leader to ditch NASA for Jubilee.
But speaking on Thursday in Kitui, Kalonzo termed Uhuru's appeal to him as a mockery to the Kamba community, affirming that he would not quit the Opposition at any given moment.
“Asking me to join them with offers to deputise Ruto in 2022 is a mockery to the Kamba community that has suffered under their leadership and we must teach them a lesson at the ballot,” he stated.
The former Vice President further exuded confidence that NASA would win the forthcoming general elections, under which Raila Odinga is vying as the presidential candidate.
“We are sure of winning this election, we have the vote numbers across the county to send Jubilee government home,” he said.
