President Kenyatta said the Government would not compromise on individuals who engage in activities that threaten peace and stability of the country.

“I want to assure Kenyans that the Government will deal with those inciting and threatening wananchi in any part of the country especially now that the country was preparing to take part in the General Election,” said President Kenyatta.

He urged Kenyans to turn out in large numbers and vote wisely for the Jubilee Party during the elections set for Tuesday next week so that the Government can continue on the path of prosperity and development.

The President urged Kenyans to re-elect him and his team for a second term, saying Jubilee has laid down foundations to accelerate the country’s economic growth and has united the country.

Enumerating the Government’s development projects across the country, President Kenyatta dismissed the Opposition for criticizing Jubilee’s development projects and yet they have nothing to show in terms of development when they served in senior positions in the previous governmnets.

Apart from the Standard Gauge Railway, the biggest single infrastructure project in Kenya’s history, started by Jubilee in less than four years, the Head of State said the Government has revived KCC, Mumias, Pan Paper Mills, Nzoia sugar factories as well as the Rivatex and Volks Wagen and Peugeot plant in Thika which had collapsed during the previous regimes.

“We have launched various development projects across the country including Nzoia, Pan Paper Mills and Mumias in western Kenya, Wrigley factory in Machakos, Rivatex in Eldoret, Tiles factory in Kajiado, Volks Wagen and Peugeot plant in Thika and tarmacking of roads in all parts of the country,” said President Kenyatta.

“But our friends in the Opposition are busy criticizing our projects but they have nothing to show Kenyans for all the period they have been in government. Just ignore them at the ballot,” President Kenyatta told voters.

“Jubilee will continue to dream big and implement its vision so that every Kenyans can be proud of this great nation,” he added.
