President Uhuru Kenyatta has assured families of GSU officers who perished in the tragic road accident at Karai, Naivasha, where more than 40 people died.

He was speaking on Wednesday during a memorial service of the 11 officers where he said that the government will give support to the families of the affected officers. 

"In this trying moment the government will give necessary support to comfort the families affected," said the president. 

He urged Kenyans to pray for all the families affected by the tragedy.

The G.S.U officers died on their way to Nairobi from Bomet county after accompanying the president in his tour of Bomet county.
