President Uhuru Kenyatta has accused Governor Isaac Ruto of betrayal, saying the NASA pentagon member clinched the Bomet gubernatorial seat in 2013 mainly because of the Jubilee support. The president, who was speaking in Olenguruone town on Saturday during a campaign event, said Rutto heavily relied on his support and that of Deputy President William Ruto to win. Rutto, a former Council of Governors chairman, recently joined the National Super Alliance member as a fifth principal. The other principals are presidential candidate Raila Odinga, his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Fork Kenya boss Moses Wetangula. Governor Rutto will use his Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party o defend his seat against Jubilee Party’s Joyce Laboso.
